Dear Parents, Partners, Family, and Friends of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Class of 2019:
The White Coat Ceremony is a milestone event in the professional development of medical students. It celebrates the transition from classroom to clinical training, and calls on students to incorporate the humanistic ideals of medicine in their future care of patients. Many of us have been working together to help make this a memorable occasion, and we hope that you’ll join us as a community to celebrate our humanistic commitment to the study and practice of medicine.
In addition to the Thursday evening ceremony, April 28th, we have planned several “Post-White Coat” activities for you on Friday afternoon and evening, April 29th, as well as some brunch options for Saturday morning, should you be interested. Please see the Schedule tab for more information.
If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact us here.
This year, we will be live streaming the ceremony! The stream will be live on this page during the ceremony, and will be available for download at the same link afterwards.
